New Book About El Gouna Published

With the permission of Orascom, after 1.5 years of preparation, a travel book has been published with 180 pages about El Gouna, now available in its 1st edition.

In addition to general travel information and information about El Gouna, it also contains a commercial branch index with over 500 sorted business units (no more annoying search for phone numbers) and a road map in European standard. It is bilingual, German and English, and will appear every half year.

Native plants  use less water  and  insecticides, feed the local wildlife such as birds, are authentic in their setting, show  sensitivity to the environment  and some are used as medicinal plants.    From earliest times the Ancient Egyptians were renowned for their knowledge of medicinal plants. The Papyrus Ebers, an Egyptian medical papyrus of herbal knowledge (c. 1550 B.C.), compiled about  900  remedies, mostly plants, were being used by physicians.
