The Festival's Official Poster - Egypt Today By:  Mustafa Marie   Tue, Aug. 28, 2018 CAIRO – 28 August 2018: The official poster for the upcoming El-Gouna Film Festival has been released on the festival’s official page. The poster's design is perceived to be very simple and classy.   The festival’s management organized a press conference on August 28; details regarding the second edition of the festival will be revealed and discussed during the conference. El-Gouna Film Festival is set to be launched on Sept. 20 and will run until Sept. 28.  Naguib Sawiris, founder of the festival, will attend the conference, along with Samih Sawiris and CEO Amro Mansy.  Minister of Culture Enas Abdel Dayem and Minister of Tourism Rania el-Mashat are expected to attend the opening ceremony of the festival’s second edition.  The mission of El-Gouna Film Festival is to showcase a diverse selection of films for the passionate and knowledgeable audience and to foster better
