LE7.5B of Funding for Small and Micro Projects in 18 months - Egypt Today

Chairman of MSMEDA , Nevine Gamea: File Photo By:  MENA Sat, Jul. 28, 2018 HURGHADA - 28 July 2018: Executive Director of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) Neven Gamea said Saturday creating job opportunities tops the authority's priorities and plans pointing out to the importance of focusing on the micro enterprises.   Gamea was delivering a speech during the third and last day of "Green Banking: The Road to Sustainable Development" conference, organized by the Union Of Arab Banks in cooperation with the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) in Hurghada city.  She underlined that the MSMEDA works with 30 Arab and international donors to fund its projects, as its funding portfolio reached EGP 41 billion.  "The total fund of small and micro projects over 18 months amounted to EGP 7.5 billion," the MSMEDA executive director said.  The agency nowadays pays particular attention to the micro and small enterprises,

Environment Ministry Launches Campaign to Clean Magawish Island - Egypt Today

Hurghada Beach – Reuters By:  MENA   Tue, Jul. 24, 2018 CAIRO - 24 July 2018: The Environment Ministry spearheaded a campaign to clean Magawish Island in the Red Sea, within the framework of efforts aimed at preserving biodiversity and nature protectorates.   The campaign is launched in coordination with Hurghada Environmental Protection and Conservation Association (HEPCA). Nearly 120 persons will participate in it.   In statements on Tuesday, Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad said Magawish Island is one of Egypt's marine protectorates. In the coming days, cliff-nesting seabirds, especially gulls, will lay their eggs on the island, she noted. The gulls lay two or three speckled eggs in nests composed of vegetation.   The campaign is part of Egypt's initiative "Red Sea Islands free from plastic", she said. It also falls within preparations for the 14th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD/COP 14)

A contract signed mid-June with FIFA to promote Egypt as tourist destination — making it the first African investor in this year’s season — is also expected to have an equally powerful impact on tourism.   The contract was an agreement inked in Moscow between FIFA and an Egyptian delegation that included Minister of Tourism Rania Al-Mashat and Minister of International Cooperation and Investment Sahar Nasr. El Gouna Winning Battle Against Mosquitoes - (Reprint)

Previously I was obsessed with closing every window and door since even netting was pénétrable. But nowadays, I have been known to leave a door or window open. This was too good to be true. What had happened? Could this good fortune last? Moreover, this coincided with the halting of the fogger cloud at dusk meant to kill mosquitoes flying in the air. What was the link between stopping the fighting of mosquitoes in the air and their sudden disappearance? Egyptian Premier League fixture list to be released Sunday - Egypt Today

By:  Egypt Today staff   Wed, Jul. 4, 2018 The Egyptian Football Association’s committee of competitions head, Amir Hussein, revealed on Wednesday that the Egyptian Premier League new season draw will be held on Sunday.   EFA invited the representatives of the 18 clubs that will participate in the league to attend the draw ceremony.  The 18 teams set to participate in the new season are: Al-Ahly, Zamalek, Ismaily, El-Masry, El-Dakhleya, Enppi, El-Entag El-Harby, Al-Ittihad, Misr Lel Makkasa, Al-Mokawloon, Petrojet, Pyramids F.C., Tala'ea El-Gaish, Smouha, Wadi Degla and the new comers, Haras El-Hodoud, El-Gouna and Nogoom El-Mostakbal.  Nogoom El-Mostakbal will participate in the competition for the first time in their history to be the 69th team to participate in the League.  The new Egyptian Premier League season is set to start in August.  Furthermore, Hussein revealed that the Egyptian Super Cup will be held by the end of the first half of the seaso
