Iftar for Orphans - Rotary Club of Red Sea - El Gouna

The Rotary Club of Red Sea - El Gouna invited 45 orphans from El Nakib Primary and Taha Hussein School in Hurghada to enjoy Iftar at sunset during the last few days of Ramadan 2016.

 The excited children traveled together by bus to McDonald's restaurant at Senzo Mall south of the city. The McDonald's clown Ronald was there to greet the children together with Rotary Club members. Happy Meals were served as the children enjoyed the outside seating and play area.

Native plants  use less water  and  insecticides, feed the local wildlife such as birds, are authentic in their setting, show  sensitivity to the environment  and some are used as medicinal plants.    From earliest times the Ancient Egyptians were renowned for their knowledge of medicinal plants. The Papyrus Ebers, an Egyptian medical papyrus of herbal knowledge (c. 1550 B.C.), compiled about  900  remedies, mostly plants, were being used by physicians.
