Nurses invite Gouna Residents for Free Checkups

In celebration of International Nurses Day and the remarkable work of nurses around the world, Gouna Technical Nursing Institute (GTNI) is proud to invite you to the Institute 

on Saturday 14th May 2016, from 2 pm until 4 pm 

to attend a free public health assessment clinic, run by GTNI senior nursing students and nursing instructors.  

The clinic will be offering checks for diabetes, blood pressure and pulse, height and weight and body mass index, as well as, health education related to healthy eating and asthma management.

So join in the celebrations and get a free health check-up while you are there.


The GTNI is located behind the El Gouna Hospital, downtown El Gouna

Native plants  use less water  and  insecticides, feed the local wildlife such as birds, are authentic in their setting, show  sensitivity to the environment  and some are used as medicinal plants.    From earliest times the Ancient Egyptians were renowned for their knowledge of medicinal plants. The Papyrus Ebers, an Egyptian medical papyrus of herbal knowledge (c. 1550 B.C.), compiled about  900  remedies, mostly plants, were being used by physicians.
