Customer Services is pleased to announce that El Gouna shuttle buses and lagoon shuttle boats are providing free WiFi to passengers.  Shuttle buses operate from downtown daily between 9am and midnight. Daily and weekly tickets are available on the bus for 25 LE a day or 80 LE a week.  Boat prices are 20 LE per direction and can be obtained on the boat. 

Gouna News ran a Survey last week. How should El Gouna control it’s dog population ? Our best received response is below 1.Enforce the all dogs on a leash rule - impound any obviously owned dogs running free and fine the owner when they collect the dog. (give security the power and management support to enforce the rules!) 2. Provide spaces for owners to safely let their dogs run. 3. Support El Gouna Stars properly in its TNR work. (small service charges levy for all residents to fund the feeding and neutering, and to employ when necessary a professional catcher) 4. Tackle the problem of food waste being left around and attracting the desert dogs. 5. Educate people - adults and children to treat dogs with respect so that dogs don’t feel the need to react with aggression.

Yousry Nasrallah and Daoud Abdel Sayed - Egypt Today. North Golf is an area of El Gouna comprised of 29 villas abutting the golf course. It has its own security gate manned by security personnel 24/7,  as do the majority of areas in El Gouna.  A few days ago construction began on a new smart gate to replace the existing setup, without any warning or consultation with the 29 villa owners.  Residents were told by the on site foreman that the new system will allow a card to open the gate, with a buzzer and two way intercom to call the central security control room. Villa owners were alarmed to notice two narrow lanes being setup at this only entrance to Golf North , with rock and cement delimiting the lanes. North Golf villa owners believe this new gate will cause problems and solve a problem that never existed. The new gate will be too narrrow to allow normal delivery trucks or boat trailers to pass.  Currently an SUV has difficulty getting through. Some villa owners have furniture delivered...
