Partial Closing of 2nd Gate Roundabout

Hope this finds you well.

Please be advised that the El Gouna gate 2 roundabout will be partially closed and turned into a one-lane route in both directions as there will be ongoing infrastructure construction for Shedwan (please check the attached map).

Kindly note that work will start on June 30th  and end on August 15th , 2022

We strongly advise you to slow down and drive carefully as you approach the work area.

Native plants  use less water  and  insecticides, feed the local wildlife such as birds, are authentic in their setting, show  sensitivity to the environment  and some are used as medicinal plants.    From earliest times the Ancient Egyptians were renowned for their knowledge of medicinal plants. The Papyrus Ebers, an Egyptian medical papyrus of herbal knowledge (c. 1550 B.C.), compiled about  900  remedies, mostly plants, were being used by physicians.
