In preparation for our coming Sailing Regatta and since you need more than sailing skills to participate and maybe even win a sailing race, we would like to invite you to attend our first Sailing Seminar & Clinic. The topics are Rules of the Road in Racing and Sail Trimming. This event is suitable for sailors aiming to advance in their sailing skills and take part in races but also for anyone interested in sailing and maybe aiming to join the coming regatta on one of the participating yachts.

El Gouna is graced with a beautiful location on the Red Sea and founders of the town have thankfully incorporated two marinas into its design and expansion.  Gouna News approached Ms. Marta Prusiz, Administrative Assistant Manager at Orascom Marine Management to learn more and we have compiled the following Frequently Asked Questions that Ms. Prusiz gracefully answered.  What are names of the marinas? Native plants  use less water  and  insecticides, feed the local wildlife such as birds, are authentic in their setting, show  sensitivity to the environment  and some are used as medicinal plants.    From earliest times the Ancient Egyptians were renowned for their knowledge of medicinal plants. The Papyrus Ebers, an Egyptian medical papyrus of herbal knowledge (c. 1550 B.C.), compiled about  900  remedies, mostly plants, were being used by physicians.
