New Year’s Eve regulations


Dear Community Members, 

Approaching New Year's Eve, we wish you all a very Happy New Year.

We would like to remind you for your own comfort and the surrounding neighbors, kindly share your planned events within your property at least 24 hours prior to the event. This is meant to facilitate your guest entry and take the necessary communal arrangements around your neighborhood.

We trust your cooperation and encourage everyone to be mindful of their neighbors.

To that end, we would like to take this opportunity and share private parties code;

  • Events above the capacity of 15 pax are exclusively permitted for property owners and not allowed for rental tenants
  • An email to Community Care must be sent in advance by the property owner indicating the nature of the event, number of invitees and the equipment for event's set up, if any
  • Once Community Care approval is granted, workers’ names and copies of their personal ID's must be sent prior to the event
  • Guest list to be shared with Community Care to facilitate their entry at the gates
  • Sound & light systems must be checked and declared at the gates
  • Speakers are recommended to be kept indoors; when used outdoors, volume must be kept below 75 decibel.
  • Music must be turned down maximum by midnight on weekdays and on weekends at 2:00AM if indoors and 1:00AM if outdoors
  • On New Year’s Eve December 31st, 2021music must be turned down maximum by 3:00AM
  • Property owner is accountable to seek permission of neighbors in case of wedding ceremonies
  • In case of neighbors complaining, property owner will be asked to turn down the volume
  • A fire extinguisher must be available near the BBQ or cooking station, if any
  • Neighbors parking spaces and private premises should be respected
  • Property owner is accountable for their invitees to abide by El Gouna Communal Rules and Regulations
  • Property owner is liable to provide proper number of Trash Bins at the outdoor area of the property during the event and to take care of any leftovers in visible or common areas immediately after the event.
