Elements of Life is an event happening on the 8th of October at The Venue. Their aim it to create a one of a kind experience, one that is inspired by the 4 fundamental elements of life.


For the first time in Egypt, the camels are coming. Camelphat hailing straight from the UK, the duo is responsible for some of the biggest electronic hits we've heard over the past years. Joining them is Berlin based Lovra, resident at Ushuaia Ibiza & Ministry of Sound, Lovra's unique take on chunky, bass driven grooves makes her a natural fit for Elements of Life. To add local flavor into the mix, joining the lineup is Egypt’s own Youssef Awadly

El Gouna is graced with a beautiful location on the Red Sea and founders of the town have thankfully incorporated two marinas into its design and expansion.  Gouna News approached Ms. Marta Prusiz, Administrative Assistant Manager at Orascom Marine Management to learn more and we have compiled the following Frequently Asked Questions that Ms. Prusiz gracefully answered.  What are names of the marinas? Text and photography by Gabriel Mikhail     I n Egypt’s   Eastern Desert, where Gouna is located,   there is a great variety of indigenous trees and  shrubs which have adapted to this region ’s hot and arid conditions.    Desert gardens  have become fashionable in many hot and arid climates around the world. Native plants  use less water  and  insecticides, feed the local wildlife such as birds, are authentic in their setting, show  sensitivity to the environment  and some are used as medicinal plants.    From earliest times the Ancient Egyptians were renowned for their knowledge of medicinal plants. The Papyrus Ebers, an Egyptian medical papyrus of herbal knowledge (c. 1550 B.C.), compiled about  900  remedies, mostly plants, were being used by physicians.
