Brief Electricity Outage Hits El Gouna

A brief 15 minute electricity outage hit El Gouna in the evening of Tuesday at around 8 pm. Some areas were spared such as New Marina and Joubal, but overall, El Gouna fell into quiet darkness. It appears to have been due to power being cut off from National grid. 

Electricity was fully restored 15 minutes later for the remainder of the night.

Native plants  use less water  and  insecticides, feed the local wildlife such as birds, are authentic in their setting, show  sensitivity to the environment  and some are used as medicinal plants.    From earliest times the Ancient Egyptians were renowned for their knowledge of medicinal plants. The Papyrus Ebers, an Egyptian medical papyrus of herbal knowledge (c. 1550 B.C.), compiled about  900  remedies, mostly plants, were being used by physicians.
