PIAZZA GOES POP-UP is a temporary fine-dining restaurant by the famous Belgium restaurant ‘Au Vieux Bruxelles’ and Jean-Christophe Abrial - a Ducasse educated French chef, set over the beautiful Piazza of Ancient Sands Golf Resort, El Gouna, in a refined but relaxing setting. 


PIAZZA GOES POP-UP offers you the very best food using the finest seasonal ingredients and carefully crafted cocktails. Starting by home-made bread with entrées as blinis with smoked salmon, shrimp croquettes or half-cooked duck foie-gras followed by main courses like risotto all’anatra, beef fillet with pepper-sauce, chicken tajine and more, the kitchen gives you a exquisite taste around the world with a contemporary touch. Native plants  use less water  and  insecticides, feed the local wildlife such as birds, are authentic in their setting, show  sensitivity to the environment  and some are used as medicinal plants.    From earliest times the Ancient Egyptians were renowned for their knowledge of medicinal plants. The Papyrus Ebers, an Egyptian medical papyrus of herbal knowledge (c. 1550 B.C.), compiled about  900  remedies, mostly plants, were being used by physicians.
