We have pleasure to share the video of our activities during the 2019-20 Rotary year that began 1st July 2019.

The Rotary year comes to a close at the end of this month, after the virtual Rotary District Conference (18th/29th June) and the Virtual Rotary International Convention (20th-26th of June), both held online due to COVID-19.


Rotary is an organization of business and professional persons united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

El Gouna is graced with a beautiful location on the Red Sea and founders of the town have thankfully incorporated two marinas into its design and expansion.  Gouna News approached Ms. Marta Prusiz, Administrative Assistant Manager at Orascom Marine Management to learn more and we have compiled the following Frequently Asked Questions that Ms. Prusiz gracefully answered.  What are names of the marinas? Does name 'Abu Tig' cover all three basins ? Orascom Marine Management has 2 marinas in El Gouna: Abu Tig Marina (South and North Basin) and Abydos marina.  Approximately how many boats are moored? Native plants  use less water  and  insecticides, feed the local wildlife such as birds, are authentic in their setting, show  sensitivity to the environment  and some are used as medicinal plants.    From earliest times the Ancient Egyptians were renowned for their knowledge of medicinal plants.
