Gouna Owners Donate to the Community

The Gouna Owners Club (GOC) have launched an initiative to help some of the most needy in the El Gouna community at this difficult time. A workgroup was set up about 2 weeks ago to identify the most vulnerable groups in the community. A fund of over 150,000 EGP having been donated so far by GOC members.

A disadvantaged group of around 250 workers was identified, including street sweepers, beach cleaners, garbage collectors, ununiformed guards (Ghafeers), etc.. most of them are on an average daily pay of around 100 EGP.

The GOC workgroup of owners are directly involved in the distribution of the donated fund, against prepared lists to ensure all donations will reach those targeted. GOC believe, at such difficult time, solidarity with those in need in our community is not only a necessity but also a duty.

For those who are not members of GOC wishing to participate in this initiative or to join GOC, please contact Maher El Faham on, melfaham@aol.com.
