Opera Akhenaten Live from the Met November 23rd

The 2019/2020 Opera season continues with Akhenaten an Opera in three acts based on the life and religious convictions of the Egyptian pharaoh Akhenaten (Amenhotep IV), written by the American composer Philip Glass in 1983. 

 Location :   TUB Campus Audimax

 When: November 23rd, 8 PM (duration 3.5 hours)

Native plants  use less water  and  insecticides, feed the local wildlife such as birds, are authentic in their setting, show  sensitivity to the environment  and some are used as medicinal plants.    From earliest times the Ancient Egyptians were renowned for their knowledge of medicinal plants.
