Artists Gathering Held in El Gouna

Artists in the Red Sea gathered on Sunday 20th October at El Gouna Park to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife, and to indulge their passion for sketching, painting and photography.

The informal event was the first of hopefully many, to encourage new artists, and share together days out and lessons.

Orascom has kindly made available studios to rent in the new Art Village Shopping area at the end of Best Way parking in Downtown, El Gouna.

El Gouna is graced with a beautiful location on the Red Sea and founders of the town have thankfully incorporated two marinas into its design and expansion.  Gouna News approached Ms. Marta Prusiz, Administrative Assistant Manager at Orascom Marine Management to learn more and we have compiled the following Frequently Asked Questions that Ms. Prusiz gracefully answered.  What are names of the marinas? Native plants  use less water  and  insecticides, feed the local wildlife such as birds, are authentic in their setting, show  sensitivity to the environment  and some are used as medicinal plants.    From earliest times the Ancient Egyptians were renowned for their knowledge of medicinal plants.
