In our efforts to control stray animals across El Gouna, we are currently working on building feeding stations away from residential areas in collaboration with El Gouna Stars.

We trust your understanding that leaving food remains or dry food around your units affect our efforts to attract stray animals towards the feeding stations.  

Should you wish to share food remains and/or dry food, please contact the responsible security personnel for feeding stations

Native plants  use less water  and  insecticides, feed the local wildlife such as birds, are authentic in their setting, show  sensitivity to the environment  and some are used as medicinal plants.    From earliest times the Ancient Egyptians were renowned for their knowledge of medicinal plants. The Papyrus Ebers, an Egyptian medical papyrus of herbal knowledge (c. 1550 B.C.), compiled about  900  remedies, mostly plants, were being used by physicians.
