The talented Daisy Wignall and Tereza Dos Santos Costa have teamed up to add some more culture and music to our little town with a CHOIR that welcomes anyone who’s interested in joining!

It really doesn’t matter if you’re an opera star, the average songbird or just the stereotypical singer in the shower... 💛

We’re rehearsing weekly on Tuesdays at 7.30pm!

El Gouna is graced with a beautiful location on the Red Sea and founders of the town have thankfully incorporated two marinas into its design and expansion.  Gouna News approached Ms. Marta Prusiz, Administrative Assistant Manager at Orascom Marine Management to learn more and we have compiled the following Frequently Asked Questions that Ms. Prusiz gracefully answered.  What are names of the marinas? Native plants  use less water  and  insecticides, feed the local wildlife such as birds, are authentic in their setting, show  sensitivity to the environment  and some are used as medicinal plants.    From earliest times the Ancient Egyptians were renowned for their knowledge of medicinal plants. The Papyrus Ebers, an Egyptian medical papyrus of herbal knowledge (c. 1550 B.C.), compiled about  900  remedies, mostly plants, were being used by physicians.
