El Gouna Names Street After Amr Khalil

El Gouna has named a street leading up to La Maison Bleue after Amr Khalil, who passed away in January. 

 Amr Khalil was the originator of the concept behind, the Orascom owned, La Maison Bleue boutique hotel. Mr. Khalil went on to manage the five star hotel after it’s construction in 2010.

 The naming of the street is a fitting tribute to a man who embodied old fashioned high class and left his mark on a Gouna landmark.

Native plants  use less water  and  insecticides, feed the local wildlife such as birds, are authentic in their setting, show  sensitivity to the environment  and some are used as medicinal plants.    From earliest times the Ancient Egyptians were renowned for their knowledge of medicinal plants.
