El Gouna General Manager to Step Down April 1st

In still unofficial reports, sources say that Mr. Mahmoud El Baroudi General Manager of El Gouna, is to be leaving from 1st April next year, with his replacement not yet finalised. 

 Mr. El Baroudi has been El Gouna GM since November 2014. 

 Moreover a new Orascom CEO, Tarek Kamal, will take office in El Gouna from 1st Jan 19, overlooking both Hotels & Real Estate and El Gouna Operations businesses, and will spend 80% of his time in El Gouna, with the rest in Cairo, hence providing, for first time, a senior board member located in El Gouna for quicker decision making.

 Mr. Baroudi is expected to take on a senior role at Orascom in Oman.

Native plants  use less water  and  insecticides, feed the local wildlife such as birds, are authentic in their setting, show  sensitivity to the environment  and some are used as medicinal plants.    From earliest times the Ancient Egyptians were renowned for their knowledge of medicinal plants.
