Egyptian Premier League fixture list to be released Sunday - Egypt Today

The Egyptian Football Association’s committee of competitions head, Amir Hussein, revealed on Wednesday that the Egyptian Premier League new season draw will be held on Sunday. 

EFA invited the representatives of the 18 clubs that will participate in the league to attend the draw ceremony. 

The 18 teams set to participate in the new season are: Al-Ahly, Zamalek, Ismaily, El-Masry, El-Dakhleya, Enppi, El-Entag El-Harby, Al-Ittihad, Misr Lel Makkasa, Al-Mokawloon, Petrojet, Pyramids F.C., Tala'ea El-Gaish, Smouha, Wadi Degla and the new comers, Haras El-Hodoud, El-Gouna and Nogoom El-Mostakbal. 

Nogoom El-Mostakbal will participate in the competition for the first time in their history to be the 69th team to participate in the League. 

The new Egyptian Premier League season is set to start in August. 

Furthermore, Hussein revealed that the Egyptian Super Cup will be held by the end of the first half of the season. 

Egyptian League Champions, Al-Ahly will face Egyptian Cup Champions, Zamalek at the Super Cup.
