Aqaba - Hurghada - Sokhna Cruise Line Debuts
Al-Mal newspaper reports that the port of Hurghada received, on Thursday, the first voyage of the shipping line «Aqaba - Hurghada - Sokhna», as confirmed by Brigadier Haitham Mohammed, Director of Hurghada Maritime Port, in a statement to Al-Mal.
He added that the cruise will operate twice a week, whereby the M/V CLIO, constructed in 1998, arrives, flying the flag of "Malta", to the port of Hurghada. The second cruise will be received the following Sunday, coming from Aqaba to Hurghada and then onward to Sokhna.

The port manager serves international tourism in the Red Sea : tourism yachts of all types, long cruise ships and shipping lines to transport tourists and passengers from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States to the port of Sharm el-Sheikh.
Separately, Dubai Ports (DP), which manages the Sokhna terminal, had said in a press release, that it received the 3,500 ton, 100m long "M/V CLIO", carrying 100 tourists. A ceremony was organised celebrating the occasion. The tourists onboard then traveled to Cairo for a short visit to see the Pyramids before returning to the port of Sokhna, to continue their trip to Hurghada.
