 To El Gouna Homeowners & Residents,

We hope this email finds you all in great health.

First, we would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that might have been caused during the past couple of days since some of the TV channels have been cut suddenly without a prior notice.

Kindly be informed that OSN and BeIN premium channels are no longer included in the Orascom TV bundle, however these have been replaced by new channels.

Please find below an updated list of our available Orascom TV channels.

 Moreover, as part of El Gouna’s plan to offer better services, we are switching from the old traditional TV cable to the fiber optics network, which will enhance the reception, resolution and the whole TV experience. This means a homeowner will be able to replace the old copper wire cable feeding his/her TV with ultra-fast and modern fiber optic at no charge. 

During the past few days, we have been working closely with Orange to provide the most suitable and satisfactory solution. As a result,  Orange free-to-air channels (including OSN and BeIN) will be piped in as part of Orascom services replacing the old TV network. This will necessitate pulling the fiber optic cable into your home, installing a hub/router at the point of entry inside the house (to homeowners who have not done so already). This installation is free of charge and can be requested from Orascom. 

 A homeowner therefore has the option of keeping old TV input (sans OSN and BeIN) or get new fibre optic installed with Orange free to air (and OSN and BeIN). 

 Alternatively, all OSN and BeIN channels can still be received by subscribing to one of the Orange Triple Play packages through Orange shop located in Abu Tig Marina . This paid service includes high speed ADSL Internet. 

 Please note that BeIN’s contract is currently being renewed and will be working as of August 1st, 2017, with the caveat that the Egyptian Government is rumored to be revisiting the BeIN (owned by AlJazeera) channels license in Egypt as part of the current political dispute with Qatar.
