This is an invitation to learn the Handpan in a fun, collaborative group environment. Explore the instruments timbre, rhythm techniques and arpeggios. Learn how to play and how to develop a basic compositional structure. The 2 hour workshop will unleash your musical creativity, work on sensitivity in your hands and develop/expand your know how of the magical singing steel in a practical easy to learn, step by step way. The last 30 minutes allows to incorporate the learned patterns in a guided group jam. The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as intermediate students. Available spots are limited so please book ahead of time. All Instruments will be provided as is tea and biscuits. The intimate nature of the workshop enables everyone to receive plenty of individual attention. Booking is essential as the number of available spots is limited. Kestrels' is a high quality photo book featuring the birds of prey that nest every year in an alcove in a hotel in El Gouna. It is a rare photographic diary of   their lives as they hunt for prey, breed and raise their young. The photographs were taken over the past five years by resident Georgina Cole who lives directly opposite the nest. It is the perfect Christmas gift for Gounies and bird lovers, and Georgina will be happy to sign the books with a personal message if you wish. Rotary Club of Red Sea - El Gouna are organising their 24th blood donation event at the Bluemoon Animal Center Hurghada, Christmas Market,  on Friday 6th December from 12.30 pm .  A list of who can and cannot donate blood will be shared in the discussion page of the event on Facebook, and a doctor will check each patient before donating. Please remember, we never know which one of us may one day be in need of this life saving donated blood. The gift of blood is the gift of life.
